You know, DbD should be a horror game(+Endgame timer Ideas)
48:10 - 49:25
How can I say it friendly?
The Game Designers work for a horror game,
but they do the opposite.
The timer should hit you in the face as survivors.
And not this:
"The survivors can decide when they want time pressure, because they want search items
in chests."
My Ideas :
Idea 1:
Timer: 2,5 min
Timer starts after the last generator.
Speed up, if someone is on the hook.
Slow down, if someone is in a chase.
Normal speed, if both things are active.
Why?
The killer get rewarded, if he hook someone.
The survivors get rewardet, if the chase is long.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Endgame starts, because gens:
Gates need 20 seconds.
The gates close after 15 seconds, if nobody is on the switch.
The switch reset, if you cancel the action.
Why?
Gates are safezones.
And thats bad for a horror game.
This change delete this safezone
Endgame starts, because hatch:
Both gates are open, but survivors must activate 2 gens for the hatch.
If they dont activate 2 gens, then the game ends instant, after the hatch close.
And the killer get a free memento mori animation.
Why?
Free escape for survivors, if they activate 2 gens.
Free kill for the killer, if they didnt activate 2 gens.
I think, thats fair.
Idea 2:
The timer starts, when the match starts.
Rank 20: 18 min timer
|
Rank 10: 13 min timer
|
Rank 1:8 min timer
Gens can not spawn close to each other.
Because Doc with range addons could be too OP.
PS:
RBT need a buff and not a nerf.(https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/58341/pig-buff-concept)
Dont destroy a playstyle.
Thats just dumb.
