Survivor on hook animation
I know realism doesn’t add up much when dealing with entities and what not, that’s to be expected. If a person got put on a hook like that in real life, most likely, they’d bleed out and die.
I encountered a tiny bug the other day where when the survivor got hooked, the model froze with the character grasping the hook sticking out of their chest.
It suddenly got me to thinking, why would they just hang there motionless? A survivor only moves when a player attempts to get off the hook or fighting off the entity in the second phase of summoning.
Even if supernatural forces are at play, getting impaled on that hook clearly shows survivors responding to pain. If it hurts, wouldn’t it make sense for the survivor to show more signs of distress? If they can’t get free, wouldn’t they grip part of the hook they’re impaled on to alleviate some of the pain from it? Their body weight from hanging without any other support would be putting pressure on the wound and making the pain worse.
Just food for thought.

It probay hurts more if they move.
Thats why the entity takes over faster if you fail an attempt to escape from the hook
