DLC purchases after Auric Cell spending?

TormentedSoul385

As someone who didn't have the DLC when the new store and Auric Cells system was updated, I'm curious what would happen if you purchased a Character with Auric Cells and then purchased the DLC. Would anything happen, or would it do nothing, just waste money?

It sounds like a waste of money/not do anything.
