Fixing the Legion "Fix"

For those who haven't seen it yet: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/57702/the-legion-update#latest

I hate the proposed changes. Like really hate it. But I don't think the situation is unsolvable. One of the biggest sticking points I have is the idea that Legion's frenzy ability goes on cool down with a single missed attack or that hitting a survivor with the deep wound effect while frenzied does nothing. But if they are going to make it so that missing a single attack puts your ability on cool down then they should make it worth the risk. The way I see it there are 2 paths they could take.

Path of Frenzy

Let frenzy live up to it's name. When the killer successfully hits a survivor then the power resets. If the killer frenzy hits a survivor with the deep wound status then the survivor loses 1/3 of their deep wound meter. For those that are good with math, that means the killer would need to successfully hit the same survivor 4 times to down them. A single miss or pallet stuns the killer and puts their ability on complete cool down. If a survivor can't successfully evade a single attack before they are hit 4 times then they deserve to go down. Everything else about the Legion update remains the same. Deep Wounds is still mostly pointless.

Path of Mending Matters

With this update, deep wounds is a joke. A bad one at that. Meter doesn't go down if the survivor is in the terror radius of the killer (which has been increased). Meter doesn't go down while mending. Meter doesn't go down if the killer frenzy hits a survivor with deep wounds. All it is now is a 10 second time out while they mend. There is absolutely no risk that a survivor goes into the dying state from Deep Wounds. If they want to go this route then fine, but at least let Deep Wounds do what they stated it was intended to do from the beginning. IE keep survivors off generators for a while. Here is what I propose: Increase the mend timer to 20-25 seconds. Whenever Legion successfully frenzy hits a survivor then then the frenzy meter overclocks increasing both the duration and movement speed of Legion.

So for example, Legion goes into frenzy. The base move speed with Frenzy is 120% and duration is 20 seconds. Legion successfully hits a survivor w/o deep wounds. The move speed goes to 122.5% and duration is 40 seconds. Legion hits another survivor w/o deep wounds. The move speed goes to 125% and duration is reset to 40 seconds. Legion hits another survivor w/o deep wounds. The move speed goes to 127.5% and duration is reset to 40 seconds. Etc, etc, etc. So long as Legion successfully lands hits against survivors w/o deep wounds then there is no limit to the movement bonuses stacking.

The idea is to get all survivors off gens and mending. All the survivors have to do is successfully evade one attack or pallet stun the killer to break the chain. Deep Wounds itself still wouldn't drop survivors. But it would put them in a real time out and Legion could actually successfully chain hits in this fashion. Survivors still have counterplay though.
