Weird suggestion for hatch standoffs, want to know opinion.

Two hatches will spawn. both open. if one is closed the other will be revealed to the killer for a split second. if the second one is closed the one that was closed initially will open. when the killer finds the hatch and has closed one of them. they see the aura of the survivor as if bbq and chili had activated (ie beyond a certain distance, but if the survivor is in a locker or close by, they are not revealed. The hatch would have a longer audio cue distance for survivors. a hatch would also open after 60s if the other hatch is not found and closed by the killer.

(the killer could also possibly gain instant down from the first initial hatch closing, promoting the quick finding and closing of an exit, so that they can gain a buff and the survivors location in order to end the game.)

this way the killer would be forced to find a hatch as quickly as possible, close it to get the survivors scent, while also preventing a possible survivor from using that hatch, in order to find and down them. the survivor would also gain two possible exits, and if one is closed, be able to use a key on it in order to escape.

this version of the mechanic would also gives the killer the aspect of patrolling that they would usually do while playing the game from the start. why is this important you might ask? because patrolling multiple objectives opens up opportunity for the survivor, and an inability to camp a single space for the killer.

additional hatch spawning rules - hatches should spawn atleast 40 metres from each other. only one hatch spawns after the last gen is done, only two hatches will spawn if all but one survivor is dead. a hatch should also spawn away from the killer and the survivors current position, and therefore force them to actually seek them out. the hatches location will move if it has spawned prior to the survivor dying on the hook, essentially vaporising itself and respawning as two potential exits. (this prevents a survivor killing themself on hook to give their swf friend the hatch, well unless they have a key)

This doesn't address the issue of a free escape i know, and it doesn't attempt to. if all the survivors are dead but you, you should have atleast one method of escape. it should just be an incredibly difficult method. this suggestion is simply to end hatch standoffs as they are a boring part of the game.
