Why was I banned for "lagswitching"/Exploiting on a day where my internet was just really really bad
- Hello. Recently I have been banned under the subject of "using a lag-switch as a killer to gain a competitive advantage" as told by the ban window. I am writing this in request that you appeal my ban as these accusations are completely false. Although yes I was having Major internet issues that day and the footage which may have been provided to you can seem convincing, as my ping would seemingly out of nowhere spike up and make it seem as if I were indeed cheating. I can assure you as a player and huge fan of this game and community that I would never be so low as to use a lag-switch to gain an advantage. Even if it was out of anger. I am a 17 year old who uses Wifi for my PC and over the past couple years have had some major problems with our router. Although my ban is temporary, and if you deem it necessary I will wait it out. But overall I find it very upsetting to be called out for something I didn't do, simply for having internet which I have no control over and has proven difficult to fix over the years. and its important to get it appealed cause if it happens again I'm afraid Ill get reported again and you guys will look at it and see that I've been banned before and be like "oh no this kid is a hacker". But either way thank you for taking the time to read my message as I really like this game and would hope not to have any negative outcomes with it in the future. If you take this into consideration I would be deeply appreciative, and I'll also posting this in the help center as well.
