My Plague Opinion (that no one asked for)
This new chapter teaser has kiiiinda got me excited about dbd for the first time in awhile (i know crazy right?), and i just kinda want to come here and talk about my initial thoughts.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Teaser and Reveal:
I think it was amazing how it was done this time around! Regardless of the very cool and creepy aesthetic of religious themes from the teaser and chapter itself, revealing the chapter first themselves before people who look into files or ptb reveals the chapter is very smart in my opinion. It makes it seem like they're proud of what they made, and its a sign of them taking things into their own hands and had a very cool reveal that seemed actually professional for once! What a shocker! oh and the new stream setup also makes them seem like their an actual company that cares about how they present their content, who would of thunk.
THE PLAGUE:
Right off the bat, a VERY intriguing concept. In my opinion, its just seemed that the devs really weren't being as creative as they could, so they made boring concepts like clown and boring powers like legion's. To go down a religious theme, make a killer that vomits on people and objects, bringing new mechanics to switch up the game a little is great to me. It doesn't seem they're as scared as they used to be after the absolute failure that legion was. Perks don't seem crazy or broken, but they do seem new and fresh and fun, which after 2000 hours on this game its all you can ask for. That being said, i said all of this when the legion was being teased, so we just have to wait and see how it'll play out.

Who knows! ive already seen like 10 threads on how they think Plague is going to be overpowered but we dont even know whats the downside of being infected yet like reLAX. And you know what, as someone whose gotten bored of killer after all this time and primarily plays survivor now, i HOPE shes overpowered. I want another hillbilly! I want something that terrifies me when i figure out its the killer because i know how hard the games is going to be. I want something thats going to drastically change the meta and how survivors go about surviving and how killers kill! Legion was such a dud, I might as well say we havent had a killer since spirit because of how un-impactful he was. I want new and fresh exciting gameplay that pushes me. Make and overpowered killer, IM BORED.
