StB should have an Effect if Deactivated

While I agree that Shoulder the Burden as a mechanic is healthier when limited to one use per game, I don't like that the perk is functionally useless for every other survivor who brings it into the match.

To rectify this, I believe there should be a secondary effect in the event the perk is forced to deactivate without being used. Not a major buff per se, but something like a nice passive would be appreciated.

Thoughts on this idea?

  • Something like “you see the aura of the survivor with the most hook states”, maybe?

  • Wouldn't be an issue if it deactivated off 3 different survivors having hooks instead, then the deactivation condition wouldn't be based off a random solo queue teammate bringing the same perk as you. Plus it would be healthier, as the current fix does nothing to change the most problematic situations where hooks are 2-1-1-0 and then become 1-1-1-1 because of StB.

  • Simple and very strong rework:

Once per game press F when next to hooked survivor to unhook them. The noise notification is prevented and unhook is shown with 5s delay on the UI.

  • Other survivors gain the 😡 status effect.

  • I agree with this. Shoulder the Burden should not be a wasted perk slot if you bring it and someone else brings it and uses first.

Something like once StB is used the other StB users get to see the aura of the generator closest to them or something. Nothing major, just something.

  • They will never go through with this limit, cause they would work against their own system.

  • It does need something else, yeah. As is, this nerfed version would be too risky to bring into solo. I'd never bring a perk that someone else bringing it might randomly shut it down. It's only logical for SWF now, where you can pick the best candidate to run it. It's obvious that this nerf was meant for SWF but it's hurting it more for solo.
