Are the servers down after the major update?
I was starting a match as Myers and it kicked me while I was waiting to join a game. It said that there was no internet connection and gave me an error code. I restarted the game and it said the same thing (everything else has connection in my home and on pc).

Are you playing on steam? Steam has a brief maintenance period every Tuesday. Try reconnecting and it should work now.
