Few stories have terrified generations quite like Goosebumps. But not every nightmare was meant to stay on the page.
When an unfinished manuscript describing a world of endless fog found its way into Slappy’s hands, curiosity became catastrophe. The moment the final words were spoken, the pages tore open, revealing a realm beyond imagination. Black tendrils reached from the book, dragging the living dummy into the Entity’s domain.
Most would fear such a place.
Slappy laughed.
Delighted by his love of manipulation and terror, the Entity granted Slappy a new way to spread fear. Through the cursed power of the Haunted Masks, he now bends unwilling hosts into silent puppets, each becoming nothing more than another actor in his twisted performance.
The story never ends.
It simply begins again.
Appearance
Unlike most killers, Slappy isn’t the body stalking survivors through the Fog.
Instead, each Trial begins with one of the Entity’s unwilling hosts—a person whose mind has been completely consumed by one of Slappy’s Haunted Masks. The possessed host carries Slappy like a ventriloquist carries a dummy, yet the roles are reversed. The puppet commands. The human obeys.
The host never speaks.
Its movements are stiff and unnatural, as though invisible strings pull every step.
Slappy, however, never stops talking.
He laughs at every mistake, mocks every failed escape, and treats each Trial as another bedtime story waiting to reach its final page.
Killer Power
Author’s Curse
The Entity has fused one of Slappy’s cursed books with the Fog itself, allowing him to turn every Trial into another Goosebumps story.
Haunted Masks
Start the Trial with six Haunted Masks.
Place masks around the environment to create deadly traps for unsuspecting survivors.
A survivor who steps onto a mask instantly has it latch onto their face.
While masked:
- They cannot heal or be healed.
- Every 25 seconds they involuntarily laugh, revealing their location with a Loud Noise Notification.
- Another survivor must spend 8 seconds removing the mask.
- If hooked while masked, the Haunted Mask shatters before eventually returning to Slappy’s supply.
Slappy’s greatest strength isn’t brute force.
It’s forcing survivors to choose between finishing objectives… or helping each other.
Story Warp
Slappy may channel the cursed manuscript to instantly travel to any active Haunted Mask on the map.
Upon arrival, the mask shatters into swirling green mist before returning to his inventory.
A clever Slappy always seems one chapter ahead.
Special Effect
Every Story Needs a Cast
Whenever all four survivors are wearing Haunted Masks simultaneously, panic spreads across the Trial.
All survivors scream, revealing their locations.
Slappy gains 5% Haste for 20 seconds as the story reaches its climax.
Mori
The Final Chapter
The survivor collapses as the possessed host silently kneels beside them.
Slappy opens an ancient Goosebumps book.
Its pages are gone.
Only darkness remains.
Suddenly, the Entity’s claws burst from the void, wrapping themselves around the survivor before dragging them screaming into the endless black.
Slappy gently closes the cover.
He brushes the dust from its spine, smiles, and quietly says…
“The End.”

I really like this idea, it’s a very interesting play on how the things in Goosebumps work
