Killer concept – this is all my idea, but I did use AI to articulate my thoughts better
Killer Concept:
The Dragon
Appearance
The Dragon is a female killer with long red hair, pointed ears, and glowing dragon-like eyes. She appears as a pirate, dressed in weathered seafaring attire without a hat. Though she normally takes on a humanoid form, she is capable of transforming into her true dragon form.
Power:
Chromatic Ascension
The Dragon begins each trial in her humanoid form. While in this form, she can cycle between four different elemental flame attacks. Only one flame can be equipped at a time.
A successful hit with any flame grants one Draconic Charge. After earning enough charges, she may transform into her dragon form for 25 seconds.
Red Flame – Inferno
A concentrated blast of fire.
- Healthy survivors become injured.
- Injured survivors are put into the dying state.
- Cooldown: 90 seconds.
Blue Flame – Frostfire
A chilling blast.
- Survivors suffer Blindness for 60 seconds, preventing all aura reading.
- Cooldown: 40 seconds.
Green Flame – Corrosion
Acidic dragon fire.
- Prevents survivors from interacting with pallets, vaults, generators, hooks, exit gates, chests, and other interactable objects for 3 seconds.
- Cooldown: 30 seconds.
Purple Flame – Riftfire
Void-infused dragon fire.
- Instantly teleports the struck survivor to a random location elsewhere on the map.
- Designed to separate coordinated teams and disrupt survivor positioning.
- Cooldown: 45 seconds.
Dragon Form
After building enough Draconic Charges, The Dragon may transform into her true form for 25 seconds.
While transformed:
- The camera shifts to an aerial, bird’s-eye perspective.
- The Dragon flies over the map.
- She can launch devastating fire attacks onto the ground.
- Survivors struck by these attacks immediately lose one health state.
Downed survivors are immediately placed onto a Flaming Wheel, which functions identically to a hook.
- All hook-based perks activate normally.
- All anti-tunneling mechanics and endurance effects remain fully functional.
When Dragon Form ends, either naturally or prematurely, The Dragon returns to her humanoid form.
Survivor Counterplay – Ancient Ballistae
Because of the Dragon’s aerial dominance, large ancient ballistae (crossbows) are permanently mounted throughout the map.
Survivors may operate these ballistae while the Dragon is flying.
Landing three successful shots forces The Dragon from the sky.
If shot down:
- Dragon Form immediately ends.
- The Dragon suffers 3% Hindered for 15 seconds.
- Any remaining duration of Dragon Form is lost.
Special Rule – Open Skies
The Dragon cannot be selected on indoor maps.
Only outdoor realms are available when playing as The Dragon, ensuring Dragon Form has unobstructed airspace.
Environmental Effect – Heat Haze
While Dragon Form is active, if The Dragon breathes fire over enclosed structures (such as the Killer Shack, castle interiors, underground areas, or other roofed locations), survivors inside become afflicted with Heat Haze.
Heat Haze lasts for the remainder of Dragon Form and persists for 30 seconds after Dragon Form ends or is interrupted.
While affected, survivors suffer penalties to all interaction speeds, representing the overwhelming heat and exhaustion caused by the Dragon’s flames. The effect also creates a visual distortion, making the air appear to shimmer from the intense heat.
