Killer Concept: The Strangers (Os Estranhos) - A new approach to psychological pressure
The Killer: The Strangers
Special Power: "Cat and Mouse Game"
The Strangers do not use supernatural powers; they utilize the environment and paranoia.
Switching (Mask Swap): You control one member at a time. Each has a passive bonus:
The Doll-Face: Increased movement speed when chasing injured survivors.
The Man in the Mask: Becomes Undetectable (no Terror Radius) when crouching or standing still near obstacles.
The Pin-Up Girl: Can place "psychological traps" (chalk marks or out-of-place objects) that inflict the Exposed status effect if a survivor interacts with them.
"Presence" Mechanic: When switching, the member you aren't controlling takes up a "watch" position at random locations on the map (usually near generators). If a survivor passes near them, they scream, revealing their location and suffering the Incapacitated effect for a few seconds.
Perks
To reflect the film's style, the perks would focus on isolating survivors and creating paranoia:
1. "Because You Were Home"
Effect: Whenever a survivor completes a generator, the auras of all other survivors outside a 24-meter radius of that generator are revealed for 6 seconds. The feeling that danger is approaching even when you aren't near the action.
2. "No One Is Safe"
Effect: If you are in a chase, survivors repairing generators suffer a 10/15/20% speed penalty. The Killer's constant pressure causes them to make mistakes.
3. "Silent Terror"
Effect: When you down a survivor, your Terror Radius is completely silenced for 20/25/30 seconds. This allows you to get closer to other survivors coming to the rescue without them knowing you are there.
