  • The extreme toxicity generated by this game comes from the fact that it doesn’t feel fair for either side. The imbalance is huge, and people end up paying the consequences. Instead of making the game even minimally balanced, they’ve chosen to generalize everything on one side and add RNG on the other, which constantly leads to matches that are unplayable or simply miserable for both sides.

MMR is garbage, RNG is garbage, latency issues combined with the netcode are just as bad. The homogenization of perks is probably the worst of all, and the 7-tier lethality system isn’t even worth mentioning. Almost everything related to techniques that border on exploits is another problem. As a result, the DBD community is so divided because matches rarely feel fair for either side. It’s really not that hard to understand.
