Can you change the aura of gens by pointing at them? (Survivors)
Was going through aura customizations and there is a option for Highlighted objects, Is this wording only from the killers perspective (eg turn back the clock) if so then other aura options have "as seen by the killer" in the wording so I'm not sure.
My thinking is if someone is running perks that are revealed by a perk (Surfaced Objects in the settings) the wording of highlighted objects makes it sound like you can point at objects and have it change aura
eg someone running deja vu, someone else points at one of the deja vu gens would it change arua colors?
Will be testing when I have someone on to test with (killer bot in customs for testing pls ;-;) but would be a interesting feature that could see some niche solo q plays.

It changes them on survivor and killer on perks that mark objects. It uses the same color if there is survivor using Blast Mine or killer using Discordance etc. Deja Vu gens use the gen color aura that you have set as they only show you the gens aura.
So this setting is for anything that would highlight the objects aura to anyone for any reason. Like the perks I mentioned.
I've been testing around and Perk auras seem to be effected by "Surfaced Object" aura setting and not the Highlight one.
Eg.
Discordance, Machine Learning, Help Wanted, Blast Mine follow "Surfaced Object'" aura color
It seems to work for things such as Knights Guards looking at gen with sending out guard.
Was just hoping there was a hidden survivor feature in the game due to the wording "pointing" but so far highlighted aura settings does not effect anything on survivor side from my testing,
