Can Anyone Else Not Play DBD With A Controller Without Using Steam Input?

The game says it has native support (which I'd prefer to use so i can get haptic feedback on my dualsense controller, though this option doesn't even appear in the PC accessibility settings so maybe its not even there yet) Either way though, it doesn't work without Steam input
