why is it that every event we can rank up except 2vs8. also why are they giving us so little points
yea i've noticed that this is the only event they don't allow us to keep ranking up until the 13th which is crazy because we'll be putting all of our time into regular mode to keep ranking up instead of enjoying the event. also last event was 5x the amount of bloodpoints me and my friends have been playing for 5 hours and were only able to accumulate 1 million in bloodpoints. at this point we can just go to regular mode and offer a sacrifice to receive was more then what they are offering in the event which makes the event irrevelant. hopefully they think about updating and making some changes for the event or alot of people will probably just go back to regular mode.

2v8 wouldn't rank you up because the mode doesn't give emblems, which are required for pips. If bhvr wanted to add ranking up they'd have to change a bunch of things because there are more gens and more people to heal, and as we all know bhvr would rather take the easy road.
I think some of it is that killers in 1v4 have a longer wait time when stuff like 2v8 is happening. If the devs were to offer tons of bp or xp for any special mode, there would be an immediate increase in the wait times on 1v4, as everybody hops over to the other mode. And then you'd have a bunch of people on Twitter and the forums wanting to know why it's taking forever to get into a 1v4 match.
I didn't realize I wasn't ranking up. I feel stupid, but thank you for pointing this out! :)
edit: I'm not so sure. I got an Iri emblem for a challenge by playing 2v8. Maybe it doesn't count towards my rank, but they definitely give emblems…
