Not sure what the context of the post means. Are you refering to their perks? As other than perks survivors are all just skins that do the same thing.
I'd say it depends on what build you want, because depending on the build their perks come in handy. For example Camaraderie (Steve perk) comes in handy when for an anti tunneling build, especially if you pair this with Reassurance (Rebeca perk) Or Lara's perk Finesse is good for looping and taking chase. Other than all that they are really just novelty skins.
Most perks have some form of synergy with other perks so yeah, if you want to try multiple builds then more is better
