A Basement Hot Take
So as Im writing this I don't really think it's a good idea but my thoughts are what if all Killer powers are disabled while in the basement and all Killers move at 115% or 4.6 m/s.
That would mean no more traps in basement, no more insta downs, no teleporting, etc.. it would also not let survivors use killer items such as Wesker sprays, Cenobites box, or Veccnas items. Perks would still work of course.
Some exceptions might be if Myers is already in in Tier 3 or if Onryō can Mori you.
Like the title says a Hot Take so I expect to get roasted

What is the purpose of this change, though?
Balancing. No killer would have an advantage so maybe they could try some new things with the Basement
Maybe I should rephrase this.
With the introduction of the anticamp and how even Bubba can't be basement bubba outside chest protector, what is the point of restricting all killer powers in basement?
And frankly, a wide sweep of disabling all powers in basement when plenty of killers don't get a benefit from using them in basement is also strange to me.
