Why does the beta tab almost never get used?

Like alot of these random changes that are done in hotfixes that are ui based or that are just randomly dropped onto people without a word can so easily just be put into the beta tab for people to experiment with…so why are we just not using it? Like the FoV slider is still in the beta tab I don’t get it

    I completely forgot that the FOV slider is technically still a beta feature

    Thr FOV slider is in beta because it's shoddy and doesn't actually increase your FOV, just scooches your camera back.

    This causes audio to be inaccurate and potentially (just theorizing) causes blinds to happen from ridiculous angles.
