They should just mix matchmaking together
So matchmaking is still horrendous for killer because for some reason it's separate for each one so how about this...just combine it together? Not that hard if it's like it for survivor why not killer? "Because each killer has a separate power so you have to make it separate since you might be garbage at Trapper but a pro with Vecna" Okay but the idea is adapting sure you might be garbage at one killer but as far as I know everyone has a main I mean Nurse mains only play Nurse as far as I know but the idea is adapting to each character so yes you might get pummeled by a team because you played a character you haven't played in a while but the idea is to work on what to do at that kind of skill level. Because overall matchmaking for killer isn't good survivor is meh but killer is a massive no because it's separate matchmaking for each killer instead of all of them combined. If a new killer comes out your best bet is just take all of the matchmaking levels of each killer the player has and find the minimum level or just combine all of them together so matchmaking is more simple since anyone who has a killer main most likely just plays that killer but the people like myself how go into a mix bag gets either way to strong SWFs because I haven't played that killer for a while so the game doesn't know what to do or it gives survivors that seemingly just bought the game.
