nonfunctioning challenge

challenge 'Dead Clever' from 'The Importance of Being King' in Tome 11 from three years ago refused to give me credit for completing it.

I equipped only the perk in question, as the challenge demanded, thus throwing the game for myself and my teammates. I got the 'escaped' pop up after a chase and points in the corner of the screen. The quest refused to complete or give me completion. This happened multiple matches. Tried switching off the challenge and back on.
