Konami Code Failure (Xbox Series X)

WraithMaster07b_e2

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I just learned about the Vic Viper charm today and I tried having Pyramid Head in the lobby and tried to do the Konami code on my Xbox Series X version of DBD but each time I do it, one of the following occurs: I end up opening the rituals, I end up quitting the game instead, or I end up going into Options mode. How do I do it without the following happening? The New Menu UI makes it harder to get the Vic Viper Charm.

PLATFORM: Xbox Series X

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Try to attempt doing the Konami Code with either Pyramid Head, Cheryl Mason or both of them in the lobby, open up rituals or options or end up quitting the game.
