Interaction between midwich classroom windows and Unknowns UVX

Unknown's UVX seems to have a smaller window to pass through the interior classroom window vaults making shots harder at close range

Xbox Series S

While playing I went to shoot a UVX through the window, moved slightly over, fired and it blew up in my face instead of passing through they non obstructed opening.
