GAME PERFORMANCE IS TERRIBLE
my games been playing perfectly fine performance wise til bhvr dropped end transmission so for a year now, my dbd has been dropping to 30-40 fps after 5 minutes of opening it and even just sitting in the main menu it still drops fps. I have:
-updated drivers
-restarted my game
-updated windows
-used launch options
-lowered graphics and settings
-tinkered with nvidia control panel
-edited config files
-reinstalled and verified game files
-deleted game files and reinstalled completely
-cleared shader cache
-enabled game mode
-set priority to high
-optimized using geforce experience
not a single one of these things fixed it and i have done each steps repeatedly each month, i uninstalled the game and took a break for 2 months, came back, the same issue is happening. It is not my pc, i have a good pc, i been using it for 4 years now with a bunch of different games both old and new with zero issues, it is just dbd alone having this problemI have reported the issue several times for a whole year and what did they do? archive my reports, tell me its an issue on my end, banned from the steam forums for reporting it, ignored my tickets on the forums, straight up deleted my reddit post etc.
they dont want to do anything about their spaghetti code game and would rather make more chapters and skins for money. I please ask that someone doesnt tell me they have same issue like always but give me useful tips and solutions so it can finally stop after being neglected for a whole year of bringing up the issue, i just want to play killer in peace without my game running at 30 fps each time i open it
and i am not buying a whole new pc just to play dbd alone when ALL my other games are completely fine
