Mending a teammate (and presumably mending overall) is considered a conspicuous action

So I had about thirty seconds of decisive left. Went to this Nancy to mend eachother since we were both deep wounded. It said mend on the prompt so I did it as it wasn't a heal and I valued not getting tunnelled. Suddenly it's deactivated and I don't remember if it gave the conspicuous action score event. Don't know if it matters but it happened on PC since that's all I play. With the current environment the game is in until 2v8 comes out, I don't wanna play survivor without my anti-tunnel just because I thought it was okay for me to MEND. Like, my name tells you who I main and even I think this is unfair.
