Opening the menu while in a match causes the game volume to raise 50%

I play on Steam and on an Xbox controller.

I opened the menu to check and see what offering the killer had put in and the sound for my viewers increased to the point they had to remove headphones. The volume increase continued even when I lowered my volume on OBS and did not go back to normal until I restarted the game.
