Closing the hatch when a downed survivor has Adrenaline (EGC timer)

When I closed the hatch and the survivor healed from the dying state with Adrenaline, the End Game Collapse timer was still doubled, even though they were no longer on the ground which means I had to wait 4 minutes before the game ended (they didn't try to open the gates).
