Wesker Virulent Bound not preventing survivors from leaving on Midwich

Please note I have only came across this issue on Midwich
During EGC, I charged into a survivor, slamming them against the exit on two occasions, both times the survivors were still able to leave. I had also noticed that during the slam animation, I slammed them against an invisible wall just before the escape.
All you have to do in order to encounter this bug is to attempt to slam a survivor against the entity wall at escape
