Unable to equip certain Player Profile cosmetics

I've been unable to equip two specific cosmetics on my player profile for the past few days. Pressing the equip button seemingly does nothing. More those two cosmetics being the 'Snowman' badge and the 'Snow Skulls' banner. I could equip them previously however that changed seemingly randomly for me. Below is a screenshot showing that the 'Snowman' badge should be equipped in the menu as signaled by the checkmark but my icon does not update. restarting the game will also reset me to my previously selected icon
