Is there any new news on cross pogression

I have been playing for years have amassed over 1200+ hours on dbd on xbox and been waiting for cross pogression to come so I dont lose all my characters, perks, progress (my p100), seasonal outfits, and have to rebuy everything. Is there any updates at all on cross pogression. Like i get sony as a company wont allow it to connect to playstation, but can you not just allow cross pogression between xbox and pc?

    If they could, they would have done it already. So I guess it's not only Sony the one causing problems with the cross progression. I can't imagine why would Microsoft prevent BHVR from acomplishing it, though.
