Getting stuck in a rock

This glitch happened on macmillan and I'm on ps4 with a survivor that was on PC and was playing as Ash. What happened was I was playing as Wesker and used my virulent bound to hit him on a rock, although I hit him in a very slight gap between the rock and a tree and when I tried to slam him, Wesker let go of him like when he does when he tries to bound someone over a hole, and the Ash was stuck inside the rock. This is the first time something like this has occurred to me and might potentially happen in other spots, although I do not know. I have sent an image of the same structure of where the Ash got stuck, although I was in the tutorial.
