Survivor Perk Concept

Perk Name: Misdirection

Perk Description: You are able to distract the killer by creating illusions of yourself. Once per match, you can activate the Misdirection perk, which causes multiple copies of yourself to appear throughout the map for a short duration. These copies will mimic your movements, but will not be able to interact with the environment or be harmed by the killer. Additionally, the killer's aura-reading abilities will be temporarily disrupted, making it more difficult for them to locate you.

Perk Benefits:

  1. Improved escape chances: With the Misdirection perk, survivors can create confusion and distractions for the killer, allowing them to potentially escape and complete objectives while the killer is distracted by the illusions.
  2. Strategic advantage: The ability to disrupt the killer's aura-reading abilities can be particularly useful for survivors looking to gain a strategic advantage. By making it harder for the killer to locate them, survivors can more easily evade their pursuer and potentially complete more objectives.
  3. Psychological advantage: The visual impact of the illusions can also have a psychological effect on the killer, potentially causing them to hesitate or make mistakes.

    Problems

1: System probably couldn't handle that many things running around. Imagine 4 of those going off at once.

2: As written, way too powerful. Hitting these back to back as a team would be really strong. You list 3 perk benefits, that's generally too much, most perks can pull off one thing.

3: By disrupting aura reading with a single use perk a single survivor can take out multiple perks on the killer side.

4: Not really thematically appropriate. If we have more sci-fi elements, or survivors with magic powers, maybe, but this doesn't really fit into that.
