Whiffing to Success achievement not gaining progress

Nightfall3460

So I've been trying to go for this achievement because it's been at 39/50 for a long while now. Anytime I make the killer miss an attack near a vault before taking the vault this achievement still never gains progress. I don't know if it's just a steam thing or not.
