How come, when i play survivor the killers ping etc is higher priority and when im killer its the opposite?

i downed a survivor, and hit validation says, nonono

every dumb dead hard goes through

survivor has headon, i open locker, gets cancled and i have to eat it

I JUST DONT GET IT

what do i have to do? i tried playing killer with laggy and slow internet and yet, i cant do what 90% of the killers can? should i vpn? pls help. its just not fair (im actually srs) do i have to sell my butt? or be more toxic, kinky?

im such a confused monkey and cant dance
