Knight & Skull merchant proved me right.
As a Trapper main (still trying not to giving up on him), the last 2 killers proved that starting with all 8 traps in his hand is never a good buff.
Add grass in Eyrie, Garden of joy pls

Yeah I seen a clip on the subreddit of some guy putting all 8 traps around a hook. Sure it’s technically counterable but it’s not a good strategy for the game to have.
He should be able to collect 2 traps from a locker though (Maybe not lockers next to a hooked survivor though)
We need more people fighting the good fight for our poster boy like you
Start with Green bag (3 traps), allow to get another 2 traps is enough to get 3 Gens setup.
He just need his traps spawn like 20m away from the map walls. Reduce collecting time and not making 3 Gens easily.
All maps need more grass and trapper needs a way to remotely set traps that have been disarmed outside of iri stone
The black Tar addon shouldn´t make the traps darker, but instead partly cover them with map specific rubbish. So the traps do actually blend in. Which would allow for better placement.
I once had a hint of a rework for trapper thad made him able to rig some objects with traps or place beatraps on the floor, costing scrap as ammo. But that wouldnt change the core issue of him being setup intense and the traps being of questionable reliability.
