ran into a new type of hacker

hides their steam profile with the new dbd feature, and uses a hack that lets them flashlight blind me wherever they are on the map, making you drop survivors and constantly be blinded no matter where you are. actually insane how theres always somebody finding a new way to bm in matches. i reported them but i doubt bhvr will look into it.

    Had the same type of hacker on RPD months ago, during the anniversary. I was playing survivor with 2 pals, against a Nemesis.

    Poor chap was almost constantly blinded, ended up facing a corner with the hacker clicking behind him.

    We all went to point at the hacker until they DC'd because apparently it wasn't funny anymore when other people shamed them.

    Ended up farming and having a slug race.

    They will look into it as long as you followed the steps to reporting someone. Video evidence and both ingame and the other reporting system

    sadly thats not new but these people get banned if there is a valid report

    People will probably just start avoiding lobbies with anonymous players if this continues.
