DBD Crashes Basically On Startup

So I tried to play DBD today and for some reason, it always crashes before I get to the main menu. The farthest I've gotten is "connecting to RTM server", but it usually crashes right when the intro cutscene starts to play.

I've seen that GeForce is being a problem lately so I made sure the in-game overlay was disabled, but nothing has changed.

Any ideas or suggestions?
