Is the game in a satisfactory state to you devs?

Healing and gen speeds are out of control.

People are just using different of the same perks now. Yes we are using different builds, but its all slowdown because if we use non slowdown, the gens are nearly impossible to keep up with on most killers.

Solo Q is trash.

All you care about is skins.

You want to make unbreakable basekit so survivors dont sit on the ground, but killers have no way to giveup with EGC at 1 hook.

What other games are you people playing? I really want a new game to play. This game just isnt fun anymore imo.

What a smart person you are.

I have died MANY MANY times due to archive challenges, deliberately.

Load in, sabo 5 hooks, die. Move on to next challenge.

They shouldnt release stats like this, because not so smart people cant comprehend the situations and factors. Such as people killing themselves on first hook in protest. How were those kill gained? Noed? Over how many matches?

Honestly I think all they look at is the player count and the revenue coming in. As long as those things are holding stable or growing, everything is good. There will always be players complaining about the game on forums, even if everything is perfect, so it doesn’t make sense for them to take action based on what they read from random complainers on forums. The only thing that will get their attention that something is wrong is if player numbers and revenue start declining.

lmao nice self tell post. Yea i too grief my teammates by rushing challenges and then suiciding on hook out of the game. Maybe if you were as smart as you think you are, you wouldn't make have made a reply that shows exactly how self entitled you are.

I feel like the escape rate would be significantly lower if they actually factored in the dcing epidemic that has hit the game recently. In reality the escape rate is probably 25-30%. The number of rage dcs and hook suicides alone show that the game isn't in a good state for survivor. People have never done this at the rates they're doing it now. It's just frustrating to play survivor more than anything else. The game's playerbase was propped up by major updates, the anniversary, and a popular dlc release. Now we're back to losing 12% of the playerbase monthly. We're almost back to the player counts we had before the perk overhaul. The honeymoon phase is over and now the frustration has set in.

People need to stop using rage quits to "prove" the game is in a bad state. People rage quitting because things don't go the way they want them to has nothing to do with the game being in a bad state.

Survivors could have a 60% escape rate and you would still see tons of d/cs, because some people simply can't be adults.

I really don't think killrates is a good metric in this game, dbd is pretty unique in gameplay terms and "winning" is hard to measure. Like how many of those survivors who died went back into the match to go for a risky and fun save? How many 4k matches from killers were done with a survivor dead before 5 hook stages? Can you actually value the data from a match where the killer tunneled someone out at 4 gens and ended the game with 5 hook stages the same way as a match where the killer got 9 hook stages and 3 survivors got out?

I think it would be better to take a snapshot of the match once gates are 99%/ powered and than just say anyone on hook or in the dying state didn't escape and everyone alive did. Even that is very flawed but using pure killrate doesn't work super well in my opinion unless the data is extremely high/low.
