Can you use add ons and offerings with the three perks?

 I used add ons before and I didn't get it but I have seen others get the achievement with add-ons and an offering.

    you can use anything, as long as you have only 3 unique perks

    You can use add-ons and offerings.

    However, you can only use those 3 perks.

    You cannot use a 4th perk of any kind.
