why did i get another prestige top if i already have it?

hi guys, im not sure if this is a noobie thing to ask and im misunderstanding something, but before the new patch with the new prestige system, i had prestige 1 on cheryl and had her prestige top unlocked. earlier on i levelled her up again and recieved the prestige top again, although i already have it. is this part of the new prestige system? have i misunderstood something

    Sounds like a bug to me - make sure to post this in the Bug Reports subsection of the forum to bring attention to it!

    Also, do you now have two bloody shirt cosmetics on your Cheryls customisation menu or still only one?

    If you still only have one, then it's a simply visual bug where the game gave you an unlock screen despite you already having the reward, but if you have two now it's a bit more than that.

    Nevertheless, it sounds like a relatively harmless bug that should be simple to fix.

    They moved the prestige cosmetic rewards to P4-5-6 after the patch went live, so if you were P1, got given the 2 bonus levels to P3, and then P4'd her, chances are they've just displayed the same reward again, since the top would now be at P4.
