Merge Unrelenting With STBFL and other Perk Changes
We all know about the machine gun combo where Unrelenting effected Succesful and Unsuccessful attacks just like the old Save The Best For Last, together they had a 55% decreased cooldown for Succesful and 50% cooldown for Unsuccessful attacks. But they both got nerfed with Unrelenting having 30% on Unsuccessful and STBFL having a max 40% on Successful attacks they are both weaker but still separate. How about we get rid of Unrelenting entirely and just combine it with STBFL and not change anything about it so it would read something like this: As long as the Obsession is alive you have a 30% decrease on Unsuccessful attack cooldowns and when you hit anyone who is not the Obsession gain a token granting a 5% decrease on Successful attack cooldowns with a maximum of 8 tokens, hitting the Obsession removes 2 tokens. And that's at Tier 3 of course.
This way Unrelenting would not be almost completely useless and you wouldn't have a wasted perk slot because you'd have two perks for the price of one. Nothing would change and the machine gun combo would still be gone, and complaining that you need to buy The Shape to have access to Unrelenting's effects is a bit iffy because why are you SO DEPENDANT on that 30%?
OTHER PERK CHANGES
Monstrous Shrine---at the moment it takes just a few seconds from the total hook time and barely anyone tries to get off the hook so the other aspects of it are worthless so overall it's a useless perk. I love Basement perks but if I'm doing a Basement build I use BBQ & Chili over this because it gives me extra points so what if hooking people in the Basement with Monstrous Shrine grants extra bloodpoints and a temporary speed boost to the killer for as long as someone is on the hook in the Basement?
So kind of something like this: You create a shrine to Entity in the Basement asking for powerful gifts, whenever you hook a Survivor in the Basement receive an extra 15/20/25% bonus bloodpoints in the Sacrifice category and as long as someone is hooked in the basement receive a 5% speed boost. The percentages can be changed of course, they're just examples.
Territorial Imperative---I love the idea of this perk but it's not strong enough to be completely useful, at the moment you have no indication you're 32 meters away from the Basement to allow that signal and aura of someone going into the basement because it doesn't light up when you're past 32 meters like other similar perks. Yeah, you can just add the indication of when you're far enough away but it's still weak. I think the cooldown and distance should just be taken out just like Feng Min's Alert got their distance and cooldown taken out. Yes you can say that someone can just camp the basement with this perk but you can do that with Insidious and they haven't done anything to change that so I don't think that point is valid to not make this change.
Make Your Choice---I really want an Aura of the Survivor who made that save, you're 32 meters away when you get there you probably see the scratch marks of the one who got unhooked instead of the one who saved them because that guy who's exposed is sneaking away. Also you don't even know WHO did the save, that's the worst part, I don't care that I can't find them or about the distance that I had to be but not knowing which one just exposed themselves really sucks because you could chase someone who was near the hook but didn't do the save and bam you wasted your chase time on someone else. Having the Aura of the one who did the save for just 3-4 seconds could help in just identifying who did the save, or even make a blue glow on the head of the Survivor on the bottom left would work as well. You know who is who on the bottom left by their name and position of their head so even if you just had a certain glow on their head would work as well because you know who to go after instead of accidentally tunneling that poor bastard who got caught out.
