Nurse and Hopelessness
When people discuss Nurse and if she needs to nerfed, a common topic of debate is what survivors can even do against her.
If a good nurse is chasing you, can you even do anything?
The answer is sometimes.
It depends on two very simple questions:
Can the Nurse see what the survivor are doing?
Can the Survivor see what the Nurse is doing?
It is that second question that I feel is the cause of most people's anger at nurse. It is not that you can't loop them, it is more that you are not given enough information to loop them.
If a survivor has no clue what a Nurse is doing, than that survivor better hope the Nurse has no clue what she is doing unless they want to die very quickly.
If BHVR were to give survivors a way to predict what a nurse is going to do like by seeing where she is blinking (see my candle idea for more) or just preventing certain perks from activating by making her attack a special attack or inflicting the Nurse with blindness to prevent aura reading perks from being too strong on her, than I think Nurse would be more fun to play against.
The problem with Nurse is not that she is too strong, but more so that playing against her feels like having to flip a coin every time she blinks rather than a legitmate contest of skill.
