Uninformed about Cheating Reports Why?

I Recently Submitted a Report about cheating to Dead by Daylight Support. Upon Reviewing my Report I was told at the end of their response "However, please keep in mind that we are not able to inform you of the outcome of this report."

Is there a reason why the support won't confirm that a cheater has been removed from the game? It seems as though that could only be a good thing to tell players.
