Additional Game Mode: Doubles and Custom Killer Concept: The Cultist and The Sacrifice.
This concept will add not only two new killers and lore to the game, but a new game mode as well. To understand how the killers will work, I need to explain the game mode first.
Bear with me, this is going to be a while...
When playing Doubles, the game is very similar as if you were playing a regular 4:1 Dead by Daylight match. But in Doubles, the numbers are doubled 8:2. Eight survivors, two killers, doubled map size. The point in to combine two full regular matches into one, giving the killers the ability to work together, while not completely screwing the survivors. and allowing more of a fun, yet challenging game mode for those who believe the game is too easy, or not fun enough. The game mode will be accessible in a Custom Match as well as an option to make custom matches private or public, in case you can't get a full party of friends at the time.
Now for the Killers...
For time purposes and for the reason that I don't have the second killer finished or at least a prototype built I won't be adding it to this post. Also keep in mind that The Cultist is a prototype idea, still being worked on and figured with. None of his perk especially are set in stone or refined yet, their just ideas.
The Cultist and The Sacrifice work hand in hand to slow generator progression, and chase survivors away from their goals, as well as giving all players a chance to earn extra bloodpoints in chaser/evader senarios.
Up first, The Cultist. A mysterious yet always agitated man who believes that blood ritual sacrifice will appease the blood gods and they will grant him immortality. A man who's face is hidden my his hood that casts a dark shadow upon him. Carrying his ritual dagger titles "Bloody Opposites". He loves the look of fresh blood on a clean blade. On one side of the dagger, is a clean untainted blade and every time blood lands on it, he immediately wipes it off to get a chance to see the fresh blood splatter on it again. On the other side, is stained and drenched in blood, facing his target, to strike fear into their hearts to show it won't be a fun time if he catches you.
The Cultists ability is called "Immortal Rage". He slashes the blade across his palm and wets the blade with his "immortal blood" he breaks into a sprint and can quickly catch up to and injure survivors. Sucessfully landing a hit on a healthy survivor while "Immortal Rage" is active will but them into the injured state and they will be infected with his blood. while infected your grunts of pain are slightly louder, and you bleed out slightly quicker. You also gain the broken status effect until you "cleanse" yourself at a Shrine of Blood. 5 Shrines of Blood will be randomly places around the map giving survivors a chance to gain distance on the killer and cleanse themselves by praying to the blood gods. With each sucessfull hit while in "Immortal Rage" The Cultist moves 1% faster up to a total on 5% faster. Failing to hit the 5th strike will result in "Immortal Rage" being cancelled and The Cultist is punished by the Blood Gods and vomits blood. But Sucessfully landing the 5th strike will result in the 5% bonus speed, and all survivors are exposed. Hitting a survivor while their exposed results in "Immortal Rage" cancelling, but this time the blood gods are pleased with his work, and he licks the blood off his blade in victory. Holding the attack button while in "Immortal Rage" will activate Quick Slash, where The Cultin will do 5 continuous attacks without cooldown or reload time. Landing at least on hit on any survivor will reset the count. Missing all 5 will cancel "Immortal" Rage and The Cultist will vomit blood. After "Immortal Rage" has been used it has a 60 second cooldown.
His teachable perks revolve around his "Immortal Rage".
His first perk, "Inevitable Fury" allows him 10 seconds of a 5/8/10% speed boost when stunned by a pallet, blinded by a flashlight, flashbang, or land mine, and when finding and empty locker. So if you stun him, you best run like hell.
His Second perk is a hex called "Hex: Bloody Mess" When "Immortal Rage" is active, if theres a dull totem on the map it become a hex totem. While the hex is active each sucessfull hit results in a 1/2/3% extra speed boost (NOT STACKABLE) up to a total of 8% faster with 5 successful hits. (AT TEIR 3). On top of that, Survivors blood pools are now 5/8/10% more vibrant and obvious, and spawn 3/4/5% closer together. Destroying the Hex Totem while it's active will result in an immediate cancellation of "Immortal Rage" and cause The Cultist to Vomit. The Aura of The Hexed totem is hidden to both survivors and killers. (If used on a killer that is not The Cultist it is applied to their base attack. The Hex is cancelled if totem is destoyed but it will not stun the killer, only cancel the bonuses. Speed bonus only goes to 3% at tier 3 upon first strike. No additional bonuses added.)
His third perk is called "Blood Wrath". You become obesssed with a survivor. Staying within 10 meters the survivor (NOT IN A CHASE) wrether your seen or not for 10/8/5 seconds will activate the perk. While this perk is active vaulting, using a pallet or hiding in a locker will result in the blood gods punishing you, and not are you not put immedately into the injured state (If you werent already) but the pallet gets destroyed. And the window gets blocked or the locker gets blocked off by the blood gods for 5/8/10 seconds.
To the survivors eyes when a window is blocked, a pallet if destroyed, a survivor is sacrificed or a locker is blocked, they see the entity doing so, but to the Cultist and The Sacrifice, they see arms and hands made of blood, as the entity is tricking them into believing that it is the blood gods in the realm.
Let me know what you guys think, and I will try my best to respond to as many questions as possible. The Sacrifice will be finished sometime hopefully soon. Thank you for spending your time to read my novel of a character.
