BHVR, can you stop with 3 steps back 1 step forward strategy?
Whenever BHVR wants to make things worse although everyone is fine with them how they are or whenever they need to do another change that greedy companies do so they get more money at an expense of worse player experience, they always do that thing.
They purposely launch the new changes that are so bad and with such obvious flaws, that everyone's attention is focused on those problems, ignoring smaller ones. Then, BHVR "listen" to the feedback and roll out actual changes that they were intending to release in the first place, where they "address" the artificially created problems and everyone cheers, even though things got significantly worse.
Like remember when they nerfed hillbilly and on the PTB his overheat mechanic was completely abysmal and then they "listened" to the feedback by making it slightly better, although it effectively still kept an abysmal mechanic that heavily affected gameplay? People who still voiced their dissatisfaction with nerfs that shouldn't have been implemented in the first place were effectively silenced by the mindless crowd with goldfish memory span that remembered only the fact that "devs made things slightly better", ignoring they created an artificial problem and refused to properly solve it in the first place.
Or remember how they initially put battlepass into the game?
Or how they roll out new prestige system that is going to significantly increase grind for almost all categories of players and put a 50k BP fee they are most likely going to reduce/remove so that everyone forgets about the actual flaws of the system?
Yeah, I get it, it's a good way to push whatever nonsense you want to push in order to profit more of the game, while manipulating community's opinion to make them perceive things better than they actually are, but that's just sad. A lot of unnecessary and clearly predatory features are implemented and you manipulate people to suck it up.
