Map offerings OP and ruins the game?

What i use them for

Why are map offerings even a thing? Like sure there are people who goes to fun maps. Personally i use them very rarely, haven't used one in months actually and if i do use one its when a map is reworked or if i havent played a map in a few days.

Reasons why they should be removed!

First of all there are several reasons why they should be removed i cant say all the bad things it goes both ways too!

The first reason would be that the offering system is unfair. As a killer you're less likely to get your map since survivors can put in 4 offerings guaranteeing a map. If they dont do that and 2 or more survivors put in a map offering its still more likely its their map than yours (not if its 1 v 1 ofc) Now while this isn't really a solid reason its still something to keep in mind!

The second reason is well probably 80% - 90%(yes imaginary numbers) of all killers and survivors who uses them do it because the map favours them. An RPD offering and you know that its likely a myers with scratched mirror or something similair because well a nurse or blight wouldn't run RPD... If its macmillan congrats! expect a Nurse or blight. Survivors goes the same way just look at old haddonfield. SWF's pick maps they are comfortable on and since maps are more or less killer / survivor sided this makes it kinda unfair. + just knowing a map can increase your chance to survive because you first of all might know the map really well and on some maps you can bring perks that favours that map etc. An example of a good SWF map would be gideon meat plant... What are you gonna do as a killer when there are 9 god pallets and 15 strong ones + another 50 filler pallets...

Obviously there are some positive things with them but im gonna focus on the bad ones :)

So WHY are they a thing? Does anyone here really enjoy map offerings?? If you do enjoy them well i'd like to know why :)

(sorry for spelling mistakes if there are any i read it through fast! and its 3 am here so im kinda tired :) And please dont be the "your english sucks or minor spelling mistake i win" because i dont care if you think my spelling sucks)
