Off the record seems like a lesser DS
Don't see why people are freaking out about it. You recieve the endurance effect for what a minute? Sure that's cool, but literary any action you do will cancel the endurance. You're going to try to find yourself using the endurance, but ending up wasting so much time when you could of used that time for a gen.
This perk is not really that great start game, and mid game. Only end game is when this perk seems to be good (basically metal of man in the endgame).
Kinda overrated rn imo. To remind you guys a conspicuous action is literary any action in dbd. So anything you interact with, will cancel the endurance.

No we have to meltdown over everything this is the dbd forums you're on.
Still better than currect ds tho?, As current ds also gets deactivated by any action and if the killer downs you they can just wait out ds, new off the record can let you body block certain loops or teamates forcing the killer to hit you, granting a speedboost and the killer cannot ignore it unlike ds.
The difference is that Killer can slug to play around DS; they cannot do the same vs. OTR. In addition, OTR functions off both unhooks whereas DS only works once.
