Is there a "Max" MMR?

As in, lets say somebody got to 2000 MMR and won another game, would they go above 2000?

If not I honestly think it'd be a good idea to have a max, where people who surpass that point can verse anyone else who has surpassed that point at an equal chance.

Now that I think of it that would just be the old rank system, oh well.
