Archive damage generators do perks work or have to kick?

    I guess you are asking if you would need to kick a gen for a tome challenge that wants you to damage gens?

    If yes, i think yeah you have to actively kick them.

    Pain resonance and surge do work.

    Ruin did in one of the early tomes, but I think it got patched and it definitely didn't work in later tomes.

    In general, take the descrption of the perk and look for words like 'explode' or 'damage'. If they're there, it usually works for the challenge.

    If the perk just says that it makes generators regress, like Ruin or Oppression (the latter regarding the gens other than the one you kick), then it normally doesn't count.
