A nurse I played against was so good I didn't believe he was using a controler. He used Monitor and Abuse, Nurse's Calling, Pain Resonance and Corrupt Intervention. But yknow, pc builds will work as much on console. Sloppy Butcher and Unrelenting are also good choices as you are learning (instead of the first 2 perks). Thanatophobia is also good with sloppy butcher, if you don't have pain resonance or surge or pop goes the weasel.
It depends how fast you are at downing people.
I usually go for detection + snowball kill : Whispers, BBQ, Infectious, Starstruck
